Denims
Denim is unique with it's single
colour, blue. Traditionally, way back in the 19th century, it was dyed
with blue pigment obtained from indigo dye. Those days indigo was most
significant natural dye known to mankind. The durability of the colour
made a good choice when frequent washing was not possible. However, now
denim is also woven in coloured stripes.
Denim comes with either polymide, lycra, polypropylene or with
polyester and a special bonding with a 100% nylon net for a more active
look. Two-way stretch fabrics and special coatings or rubberised
effects continue to be a strong trend. Several natural fibres, such as
linen, hemp or wool and for the luxe looks even silk and cashmere are
turning up in new denims to give them different aesthetics.
Denim comes with stone wash, classic-ink wash, ice-wash and dirty wash.
Denim is exclusively worn as a casual wear. Apparel made out of denim
are denim jeans and denim jackets for both men & women and denim
skirts & denim ladies wear for young women. Denim for kids also have
a host of good wear like denim pants and denim shorts.
